I found a small round white pill and it doesn't have any letters or numbers on it. There is a line through it. What is this pill?

  • It is impossible to tell from that description . It could be as innocuous as an aspirin or vitamin C tablet; on the other hand, it could be fairly toxic.

Do not flush it down the loo, or the toilet, or anything else. The best way to dispose of any medication that you will not be taking, for whatever reason , is to take it to your local pharmacist for proper disposal. Put this pill in a small container (empty pill bottle or film canister) or plastic bag and drop it off at the pharmacy the next time you bring in any of your own meds for disposal. This includes vitamins or alternative therapeutic agents.
