What are the names of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse?

Only the fourth horseman is named. His name is Death and he rides on the pale horse. The other riders are historically called Conquest on the white horse, War on the firey red horse, and Famine on the black horse.

There have been many interpretations about what these horsemen mean. Each generation has its own interpretations or ideas about the book of Revelations, the book in the Bible where these horsemen are found.

I am no Bible scholar so I won't add in my two cents. Here is the the chapter from the book of Revelations that deals with these horsemen.

1 I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, "Come!" 2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

The word used to describe the colour of the 'pale' horse is the Greek word chloros or green. It is meant to convey the sickly green tinge of the deathly ill or recently dead. Since the literal translation 'green' does not carry these connotations in English the word is rendered 'pale' in most English translations.

The name of the Four Horsemen, in order are Conquest, (not Pestilence. This interpretation is generally espoused by those unfamiliar with the actual Bible texts which describe the Four Horsemen) War, Famine, and Death.

The first statement is not true. All four horsemen had names. As follows, War, Famon (I don't think I have correct spelling on Famon) Plague, and Death.

my understanding is that the question is asking the names of the HORSES, not the horseMEN, if any.i think the horses are included in the representation of the rider by color ONLY, 'adding to the affect' if you will. according to the video game DARKSIDERS, War's horse(red horse)is named Ruin_so... i think you've got creative freedom as to what you think the horses should be named_knock yourself out kiddo_ word.
