I think that the movie is made more realistic by the "pants" since the movie is based on the graphic novel, which is based on the actual event, there was little actual research done on what to wear. I thought that the "pants' made the guys look like pro wrestlers, which are always ruff, tough and really buff

im always up for a good ass kicking movie with a bunch of half naked guys. the clothes they wear are like the clothes they actually wore when it really happened, but lets be honest here: do you really think the real guys in the 300 spartans looked as hot as they did in the movie? lolz
