Gay people! How do you feel when you receive compliments from members of the opposite sex? I think it's flattering. OR If you're straight, how do you feel getting compliments from the same sex?

I receive so few compliments that I'm just grateful, regardless of their source.

I am Heterosexual but it seems I have more men flirt with me than women. I don't get upset by it. I take it as a compliment and let them know in a nice way that though I am flattered I am not interested in men.

I have gotten compliments from gay women and men. I was actually told by a gay man that i almost turned him straight. but how it makes me feel depends on the way its told to me.

A compliment is a compliment as far as I am concerned, any compliment is appreciated regardless of the source. As long as it's appropriate of course, nothing offensive or lewd please :)

it's flattering (as long as the compliment isn't a gross come-on, by either gender). I'm gay, but also very very femme (know as "lipstick") and unless i'm out at a gay club or around the West Hollywood area i tend to get hit on by guys more. i usually just thank them and tell them i'm in a relationship.

A compliment is a compliment- I'll take what I can get! :) I'm usually pretty flattered when someone gives me a genuine compliment- whether they're male, female, child, old, purple. :D
