I'm much more careful about getting caught doing anything that could get me in trouble. I personally carry a small digital camera (gift during christmas I didn't want but might as well put to good use) in case I ever need to get incriminating evidence for blackmail :).
EDIT:Also, youtube is probably the biggest police power limiting service ever made. Many police are scared of getting caught tazing you 5 times when they'll get seen 10 million times the next day.
Somebody's gonna get my ass. Fo sho.
I'm not really more skeptical because I'm the one with the camera half the time. And anyway, a roaming camera is just an opportunity to get famous. If you don't want to be famous you don't have to. Just don't do anything worth filming.
I don't know about skeptical, but I'm certainly more cautious.
Looks like Netflix has decided to kill DVDs. Are you happy that all physical media is now dead?

I really wish that were true, but the majority of the cops that get caught on tape doing stupid stuff like that that get a slap on the wrists at worst.

True, but that doesn't stop most news services from picking up the footage and running it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that it makes people aware of abuses of power.
I just wish that it was a deterrent. Actually, I wish that there wasn't a need for such a deterrent; I'd much rather a cop decide not to tazer some kid with no library card because they realized it was ridiculous rather than fearing getting caught.

True true, but absolute power corrupts absolutely, and apparently there is no one to enforce the laws upon the enforcers.
