  • Me either. I'd rather have contacts on in the morning.
  • I know what you mean. I've been a 4 eyed monster for about 35 years. There have been times that I really just don't feel like feeling around for them, but I've learned to live with them. I don't like contacts, and I am not going to have my eyes lasered. So when I get up in the middle of the night to get some water or go to the bathroom, I'll stumble without them. When I wake up and it's time to function, I'll put on my second set of eyes.
  • Well I only wear them for reading so it has not happened to me. I hardly wear them when I wake up.
  • On the contrary - virtually the first thing I do is reach for my glasses so the world comes into focus. One of the things I have against contacts is that the world is a fuzzy blur for several minutes before I can get the contacts in.
  • Yeah, me. I wait for a couple of minutes, sometimes an hour, before putting them on.
  • I've been wearing them from toddlerhood and no I don't put them on directly upon rising. I don't even keep them in my bedroom, rather in my office. I generally look for them within about 10 minutes of rising. It takes me at least that much time to clear the fog from my brain.
  • I've worn glasses since I was five years old (sixty years) and I hate it.
  • I know exacxtly how you feel, i have to depend totally on my glasses to see my own hands!! I hate wesring them but without them im totally useless i cant see a danm thing BLIND BAT by name and sight
