What if you're using different brand of shampoo and conditioner. head n shoulder's shampoo and a suave conditioner...can u still get a dandruff? or u have to do the coditioner then shampoo last?

I usually try to make sure I use the same brand, just in case the mixture of the products causes buuld up. If you are using head and shoulders you can probably use a suave shampooo that is a clarifying shampoo, but try to make it somehting that is not super scented, or that does anythign "special" like de-frizz or de-whatever

i don't think it makes a difference when you use two different brands. it says on the bottles, "for best results use with... conditioner" but this is not a necessity. never condotion first. i shampoo twice and condition twice but always shampoo then conditioner.

the truth is, dandruff shampoo wont rid youof dandruff, dandruff is a fungus. its just another way for advertisers to get your money.

Head and Shoulder is the worst shampoo a long with Suave, they are so harsh that I can strip my floors with it, and all Head and Shoulders does it packs your dandruff to your scalp. Find a Salon that sales Therapro,They make a antibacterial shampoo that will take care of your problem, this shampoo kills 100 bacteria and fungi, also it stimulates scalp circulation. It may cost more than cheap stuff on the market but your hair will be back to normal. Plus if you don't take care of your problem it can cause your hair to start thinning. Make sure when purchasing this product that the person is trained and knows the product.
