I've just started to exercise a lot more for the upcoming track season, but my "time of month" has gotten very irregular and well it's annoying to deal with. Why is it so irregular, and is there a way to help this problem?

You should see a doctor. Some women experience menstrual irregularities when they start exercising more, but it shouldn't be considered normal. In the past, loss of menstruation due to exercise/training was considered normal, but new studies say that it can and should be treated by seeing a doctor and modifying your training/diet accordingly. -
