Im sure that all of us girls have fallen into this trap before, i know i have :) because when we break up from a long relationship, we feel "lonely", and just try our best to find any guy that can fill up that "hole" that our ex created. but not thinking whether this will affect this new relationship later on. i think right now, you should tell him that you want some space and to think things over. if he is going to be hurt sooner or later, i think you should do it sooner. because if you keep on lying to him that you "love him and want to be with him forever", it will create more pain and hurt when you eventually end it. as your relationship would be deeper, and thus harder to say it to him. but use this time wisely and try not to drag it on too much, coz he will be anxious to know your answer, and it will be headaching for you! but if your answer is yes, you want to be with him for sure, then it will strengthen your relationship up a lot, because you would have erased all doubts and confusion with him about your feelings. but if the answer is no, tell him as soon as possible, and dont drag it on, because it will only hurt both you and him more :) but i wish you all the best in this big decision making! :)
