Search Engine Optimisation for your website. In descending order, what three things do you do first to improve your Search Engine Results page position?

    Have a decent amount of content on my pages with appropriate keywords and also similar words to the main keywords, including making sure to include the most important words and phrases right at the top of the page.

    Have a good meta description and meta keywords in the coding.

    Submit the site to a search engine.

    These are the first three methods I use.

    Beyond that I get my link onto relevant sites.

    I have quite a few pages of my website being found on page one of Google for various search words and search phrases, and using the same techniques for my web design clients, I get many of them (depending on how competitive their business is too) onto page one of Google for various search terms too.
