  • Well, it isn't. "Consent" is the magic word here.
  • God's not very bright....
  • God also gave us the ability to use self control and discernment.
  • Who told you it was a sin?
  • God also gave them with instructions, in the same way when you give a 16 year old a car. He is looking for our best emotional relationship possible, and the Bible says our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. we are not to mess them up.
  • It isn't, and there is no such thing as sin.
  • Beats me! (literally) :o)
  • I'm an atheist, so I don't believe it to be a sin at all.
  • God also gave us the ability to enjoy the food that we eat. However, if we eat too much of the wrong thing just because it brings us pleasure, then it is going to do harm to us. Just because something is pleasurable does not mean that it is good to indulge in that something without restrictions. God placed restrictions on sexual activity, not because He does not want us to enjoy it, but because He wants us to use the power of procreation in a responsible way. Sex is meant to be something sacred that draws husband and wife closer together. When we don't consider it as such, when we simply engage in this activity for the pleasure, then we lower ourselves to the level of rutting animals. God wants more for us than that.
  • I don't believe in sin, as far as genitalia are concerned. However, I believe in STDs and pregnancy. If you don't want it, do something about it. And I believe that it does not make much sense to separate genitality from the rest of human sexuality, which also implies relationships, emotions, thoughts and even spirituality.
