Do anybody know anybody personally who is openly involved with incest with another family member? How do other peoplefamily members react? How did you react when you found out?

How did you react when you found out?' generally incest is always wrong in the eyes of most people. The only time it becomes anywhere near a reasonable contemplation is if its like 2nd cousins and so on and so forth.

    Being a psychologist I sometimes get clients in incestous relationships. I´ve had one that was quite fine with it too. When it came out in the open, the family members weren´t too happy about it, and the two were split up(one send to europe).

    Personally I havn´t had the experience in my own family, since they are all dead.

    i am involved in an incestous relationship with my babysister, our dad dosent know and when our mom found out she was EXTREEMLY pissed off at me. she eventualy came to terms with it but "will never understand it"

    Know 2 mother son instances. 1st one mother started it with 16 yr old son. 2d one, 14 yr old son started it with mother

    I have met a couple that are expecting a child now whom are 1st cousins. My reaction was bewilderment, then I tried to think of my cousins and how I feel toward them and realised that I could never look at them in a 'sexual' way ever. How could anyone knowlingly enter a sexual realtionship with their cousin? Apparently its not illegal for them to be a couple though, weird. Their realtionship started in their teens. The parents tried to separate them but they kept coming back to each other. They are now in their late 20's.

    Its going to depend on the situation. I have seen families do this, and ruin other lives. I know a family in Texas where the taboo is being practiced. The family have some backward thinking and understanding. I have asked some locals about the family. They tell me that the family is hard to please and satisfy as far customer service is concerned. Families varies through attitude and personality. I am going to highly discourage the taboo due to stigma imposed by society.

    I have 3 cousins that married each other, they were in relationships before and failed they hooked up...but are not happy...They look miserable with each other....I guess the thrill is gone....I couldn't look at a cousin sexually if my life depened on it...Maybe they can't find anyone else and feel family ties are close....
