  • It depends on what is in your package. You should have some information from when you booked that tells you that information. Different ships, different cruise companies and different packages will all have different inclusions available. I am going on a cruise next year, and it looks as if beverages at set meals are free (same as the meal), but if you go to a bar you have to buy your drink.
  • Soft Drinks and Alcoholic beverages you pay for even with the meal. Some lines will have things like Lemonade, Water, Iced Tea, Hot Tea, Hot Chocolate and Coffee available for free. Juices in the morning as well.
  • On Princess... All (tap) water is free, even at the bar. Hot coffee, hot tea and iced tea (unsweetened) with meals. At breakfast they have different juices available in the dining room, in the buffet you will find orange juice and apple juice from concentrate. You will find hot coffee, hot tea and iced tea available in the buffet at all times as well. The iced tea is prepared, the hot tea offers many different choices including tisane (herbal tea if you prefer). Ships in colder waters often carry packets of hot chocolate. There is an extra charge for coffee and tea at bars. Espresso and capuchino are also extra. Soft drinks are about $1 each or you can buy a card for $3.50 per day, but you must purchase it for all days of the trip. There is a small fridge in most rooms and you can always bring a few cans of your favorite soda for usage in the room. You are also welcome to bring wine for usage in your room as well. There is a corkage fee if you bring it to the dining room. To maximize the value of the corkage fee, I always suggest buying magnums, since the corkage is the same.
