Help answer this question below.
They should be fine, just make sure their are plenty of hiding places for the fry, ie. floating plant like cabomba ,hornwart or java moss,
I have a baby in with a 13 inch koi..well it was a baby..all the others were eaten by them.. They have several plants in with them they can hide in though, but once the baby got to about 2 inches it was swimming with the big dogs just fine..
Raise them separately from the adult fish and feed them small flakes of fish food, until they are a year old. You will need to raise them for several months until they get their adult colors, once those colors are fully gained, they are ready to be with the big goldfish.
Do you think the frys cood fit in their mouth? If so no, if no yes...LOL

You're reading I've got some 3-month-old goldfish fry that are about an inch long. How big should I let them grow before I put them in my main tank with their parents? Their parents are 5-6" long.
