IHAVE A 2001 SEBRING THE OIL LIGHT IS FLINKING I CHANGE THE ROD BEARING AND CLEAN THE OIL PAN WAS RUNNING GOOD FOR AN HOUR WHAT DO YOU THING THAT I SHOUL CHANGE IN ORDER TO TAKE THAT STRONG NOISE OUT LOOK LIKE OIL IS NOT CIRCULATING RIGHT

    Sounds like you either have a rod wrist pin or two that are bad or you have some main bearings that are bad. If you still have the old oil and it hasn't been contaminated with other stuff,just straight out of the pan, send it for an oil analysis. The results will tell you which bearings have been worn.

    The problem with this whole process is of course you have already done some work to the engine, and the analysis will only give you a maybe answer.

    As a result of that you would be best to rebuild the entire engine since other bearings are most likely worn too.
