Yes, but you're probably going against the rules outlined in the rental contract by doing so.
If they get in a wreck while driving its gonna be bad news.
Ofcourse anyone who can drive a car can drive it, but if the person gets stopped driving the car without the permissions from the rental place - you get trouble!
The person driving the car must be registred at the rental place as the driver of the car.

Not necessarily... when we had a rental from Enterprise while our car was in the shop after an accident, our insurance said that everyone that is on our car insurance policy is covered while driving the rental. They said don't bother telling Enterprise, because they were going to charge us $25 per extra person that was on the rental agreement.
