Many times, this is merely a result of the shape of the tread blocks. This is especially true of the more off-road oriented tread patterns used on trucks and SUVs. My snow tires make a similar racket, and after a few months of it I am relieved to reinstall my 3-season tires to get some peace and quiet. If you want to know beforehand which tires do this and how badly, some publications that review tires also rate them for the amount of noise they make as they roll down the road.

Sounds like your tires were not balanced and aligned when they were installed. Driving with them like this will ruin them - they will wear unevening. Go back to where you had them installed and get them checked out.

If the tires have an aggressive tread pattern(like off road mud tires) they will do that.
