For the past week or so my anus is itching, I have no problem going to the restroom but when I wipe i see small specks of blood. There is no blood on the or in the feces though. It basically seems to me my anus is dry and chapped?

Hi there i was reading about anus problem and i am the same not too much itching though i was a little worried so i went to the docs and he did a internal check which was very uncomfortable but he said that there was nothing to be concerned about it sounds as though i had threadworms and a little tear on my anus tissue.
As the other week after i had been to the toilet i found like a little bit of how can i put it string (maggot) like so the doctor said it sounds like threadworms.

It sounds like you might have threadworms - small intestinal parasites, to be precise. It sounds hideous, but the threadworm (or ‘pinworm’) is the most common worm parasite infestation of children(although, any age can be affected). They are usually passed on through poor hygiene, live about 5-6 weeks in the gut, and then die. But before doing so, the female worms lay tiny eggs around the anus, which leads to itching during the night. The resultant scratching can lead to eggs getting onto our fingers and under our nails, which we may then swallow, beginning the cycle of infestation again. However, threadworms can usually be eradicated with medication and strict hygiene.

I know it sounds gross, but i have threadworms, and i noticed i bleed sometimes. I'm too scared to tell my mom yet. And it may not be threadworms, but i have the same symptoms as you and I know i have them.

It could be a hemmarhoid, or something more serious.

Something that causes itching, fever or pain for a week should always be looked into professionally. Or sooner!
