Question

Help answer this question below.

I believe reincarnation exists and that our deceased loved ones can make themselves known to those of us left on earth. But, if a loved one has already reincarnated into someone/thing else, how can they make themselves known to us in the form we knew?

Ah maybe its because that time as we know it, on the other side, is not linear.

  • The purpose of reincarnation is not to make oneself known to someone in a prior life. That would be a very rare occurrence and not something an evolved or returned soul would need to do. Reincarnation allows a soul to continue in this dream of life on a path to realize the Divine law and purpose of that soul, not to meet up with a former loved one on this plane.

Maybe they don't. Remember, there are spiritual beings out there who are perfectly capable of deceiving us into thinking that they are our loved ones. Not every spirit is a good one, or even a sane one.

I'm really not certain. I sometimes look into the eyes of my dog, Cotton, who was born just 14 months after my father passed away, and see my dad's expressions in his eyes. Even my older sister noticed this, without my mentioning it. I don't, however, think that my dog is my dad. But you never know, do you.... ?

All of humankind are your loved ones. In the course of many lifetimes you may have dozens or hundreds of various relatives. So why get "hung up" on one set of relatives from one lifetime?

The LOVING GOD WHO IS has created reincarnation as the means of giving us repeated opportunities to GET IT RIGHT, or that is, to keep having repeated lifetimes of experience and learning, BECAUSE NO ONE CAN COMPLETE ALL THE LESSONS IN JUST ONE LIFE. But leave it to Christianity to declare there is no reincarnation, even though clearly Jesus and his disciples acknowledged it.

Here is the actual truth about reincarnation: When you die the essence I AM part of you returns to a dream-like state where you are slowly "stripped" (not unpleasantly) of your prior life identifications and associations, and you become prepared to enter again into physical reality (reincarnate) to rebuild a new conscious personality and to basically take up where you left off previously in your development. You do this regardless of whether or not you believe in Jesus during any particular lifetime. Conscious life is everyone's opportunity to develop superconsciousness, which is the successive intelligence toward which we are all destined to evolve.

Be mindful that the above reincarnation is not the same as "transmigration" where you can supposedly return as lower lifeforms.

With meditation or hypnosis you can recall your prior lives which took place while you had a different brain, only because all your memories are stored in an internal higher energy format that is independent of the brain, but a bit harder to access. Someone who felt compelled to kill themself carries a subliminal memory of it and henceforth seeks to avoid/prevent whatever conditions led up to it. That's how we learn, and why you might have an "instinct" about a certain kind of behavior which you sense you MUST AVOID. It is your latent memory from other lives alerting you to consequences and lessons you have already experienced!

If you would like evidence about reincarnation, this book has some good cases:
