Calcium problems can cause bumps along the cervical & spinal column on ocassion. Ok so he does have the other toes, good. I could not tell by that particular picture. He will not die from necrosis but could get an infection if it was from a bite perhaps. If he does have yellow fungus then that can get very serious if not treated. Those ingredients are very safe & effective but need to be used daily. Yes, I have used them on a rescue that I had. It is possible that he could have stubbed it & hurt it, sure on something sharp. Good that he still has feeling in it, maybe you can get that healed up & he wont lose the toes, it depends on the extent of damage. The tail will most likely be ok, but you should watch that to make sure the area doesn't look to be traveling up the tail. The vet should be able to tell if there is any infection. Let me know how he is doing & how the vet visit went. Great he is eating well, too. Tracie
