  • It is, for people will drive illegally without a drivers license and insurance and will have not coverage in an accident.Many young people don't have SSN cards anyway,if they never had a job, and would have a difficult time proving status.Also the DMV's are so backed up as it is.I have waited hours to renew license and registration and the new paperwork would add more hours of waiting.
  • Utah is a safe-haven for illegal immigrants - it is a very religious state and the dominant religion provides incredible social support (ie, job placement, food, rent assistance etc). AND our former mayor (ROCKY ANDERSON) told our PD to NOT focus on deporting illegal immigrants. They literally don't ask until you are taken to jail.
  • It is a horrible idea.
