I was dignosed with acid reflux over two years ago and put on a regimen of meds and monitoring foods I ate. Occasionally I'd have an episode that was so severe I would have to go to the ER and get a GI cocktail to relieve the pain. My last trip to the ER, which I thought was acide reflux, with the help of an ultrasound, turned out to be an infected gall bladder. I was admitted and in surgery the same day. I don't know when exactly my gall bladder became infected but I had the same symptoms as my acid reflux episodes.

Yes, stomach pain can be caused by gall bladder problems. Actually, gall bladder pain can be perceived as many different types of pain in various places in the abdominal area. Acid reflux pain can be very similar to gall bladder pain in some people. Always see your doctor if you are having stomach pain.
