I can only guess, but nothing has happened since 9/11 and people have been stopped and caught.

I don't think it would stop a determined terrorist. I think it is more of a way to keep watch on the sheep in this country.

I think that as long as there are individuals intent on using aircraft as a means to take life or project their policy, we are doomed to suffer more attacks; more hijackings. Evil knows no boundaries when it comes to sheer ingenuity.

Air Travel is as unsafe now as it has been before 9/11. The millions supposedly spent is just a way to get us to travel again and spend more in an effort to get the corporate spending wheel turning again.

They have, they are and they will continue to make air travel safer. Making changes, being unpredictable are all part of the process and keep everyone off-balance and in the dark as to what has worked, is working and will work in the future.
