Doesn't everyone hate americans, you're right I hated them before bush, and even before bush. Americans are so plastic, I've seen more realistic fake trees

Not everyone hates Americans. Americans have many good qualities. I think the things that people often dislike are their pushiness in diplomatic affairs, and their absolute ignorance of other cultures. However, if you are in need, Americans are the kindest, most helpful people you can wish for.

Why do many people hate Indonesians? Or Britons? Or Asians? Or Ugandans? America isn't the only country in the world that has or will experience negativity, heat, or less than desirable backlash due to a plethora of different and more than likely very complicated reasons or issues. It is the attitude that America is the ONLY country or people that are hated that pisses people off, or the implication that anyone who dislikes the USA must present completely valid and reasonable reasons for doing so that ostracizes other people and nations. Anyone who doesn't like you based on where you come from is very obviously an idiot. Why let it bother you?

Many 'pop' movies portray an America people that are a bit more simplistic, conceited, vengful and violent than people of probably most other countries. That combined with USA's power & opportunities, and a hater's partial envy, or a strong 'tall-poppy' syndrome' makes them ripe for dislike.
