Help answer this question below.

I am a single mom with 2 children. I would like to move home to West Los Angeles to be closer to my parents. How much do I have to make in order to live comfortably? Not rich, but not homeless either.

    First of all, dont move there if you are East of the 405 freeway... School systems are the most dangerous on the West Coast...

    West of the 405 fwy, you are looking at $50,000/yr to live in an apartment(Culver City, Westchester)... Kids wont get much of an education, but they will survive... and forget about ever owning a house...

    Good news is there are plenty of jobs year round that pay this...

    Hope you like sitting in Traffic for 45 minutes to go anywhere, cause it really is that miserable...
