  • I do it with my wife and i feel as long as it give as pleasure, its okey!
  • The Church does not allow anything "un - natural" involved in marraiges, and oral sex is considered to be un- natural and un sacred. If involved in this practice, you will not be able to enter into the holy Temple
  • I would like to point out I am NOT a member of the church, but have much interest in it. I've always been rather interested in this question because I have heard from bishops themselves that this is both ok and not ok. At a really hard time in my life I met with a bishop and he helped me a great deal. When I was done meeting with him, he took it upon himself to inform me what is and is not appropriate sexual behaviour, and oral sex, he said, was never ok under any circumstance, I have since learned that his governing authority would not approve of him saying so. The best I can come up with as far as hearing something from the church itself is this.. President Kimball has said: “We know of no directive from the Lord that proper sexual experiences between husbands and wives need be limited totally to the procreation of children.” (Ensign, Oct. 1975, p. 4.) While creating children is an integral and beautiful aspect of marital intimacy, to use it only for that purpose is to deny its great potential as an expression of love, commitment, and unity." Of course, this too seems relevant "Remember the prime purpose of sex desire is to beget children. Sex gratification must be had at that hazard." (Conference Report, General Priesthood Conference, Oct. 1949, pp. 194–95. So it seems while some bishops take it upon themselves to promote certain marital sexual relationships, it is not the churches desire to do so.
  • i think you have many way to have oral sex ! i agree it can be consider un holy practice if it is done without respect ! but if mormons can have sex not only to have children, why oral sex can t be one of the different way to give pleasure to your partner ? oral sex with lov and respect according to me is different from basic oral sex which could be effectivly not respectfully .. oral sex in marriage is a full devotion to your partner to give pleasure ! i think it also a private thing beyond the couples . for some it s un holy and for for other ones ... but the church has to give one mai rule of the behaviour ...
  • In a letter addressed to local Church leaders, the First Presidency stated: "Married persons should understand that if in their marital relations they are guilty of unnatural, impure, or unholy practices, they should not enter the temple unless and until they repent and discontinue any such practices. Husbands and wives who are aware of these requirements can determine by themselves their standing before the Lord. All of this should be conveyed without having priesthood leaders focus upon intimate matters which are a part of husband and wife relationships. Skillful interviewing and counseling can occur without discussion of clinical details by placing firm responsibility on individual members of the Church to put their lives in order before exercising the privilege of entering a house of the Lord. The First Presidency has interpreted oral sex as constituting an unnatural, impure, or unholy practice. If a person is engaged in a practice which troubles him enough to ask about it, he should discontinue it." (Copy located in BYU Library Special Collections)
  • Please follow these links and let me know what you think. It seems plain that oral sex is not allowed. This letter was sent to Church leaders (Bishops, Stake Presidents, etc.) in 1982. Has anything changed since then? This seems to be an official letter signed by the First Presidency. The direct reference to oral sex is on page 2. http://www.lds-mormon.com/worthy_letter.shtml http://www.lds-mormon.com/worthy_letter1.shtml
  • Depends on whether your partner likes it. What goes on in the bedroom is between partners, assuming it's consensual, non abusive, etc.
  • The short answer is yes. The long answer is yes, with conditions. It all depends on how couples feel about it. Does the wife not like to perform oral sex? If that is the case, is she forced to? Does the husband like to perform oral sex? If that is the case, is he forced to? The same questions apply in receiving. It comes down to what the individuals feel is okay in their bed. My wife and I weren't able to have intercourse for a period of time due to a medical condition, and our bishop encouraged other forms of sexual intimacy, including mutual masturbation and oral sex.
  • Many would say if the couple are living by the Spirit, they will know what to do and what not to do J.
  • yes i allow it it is good for you .
  • Don't leave your wife hanging. If you do don't blame it on God. Face it you just arem't cutting it. What's the shortest book in the world? List of LDS Lovers.
  • I'm STUNNED that people actually worry about what a church says about sexual practices between husband and wife. Why on earth would you give a church that kind of authority?? The label "unnatural" is ridiculous. Human beings have oral sex. It's natural to us. Bees build hives; we have oral sex. The world would be a better place if churches stopped making dumb rules about what people can do sexually and started focusing on justice issues. Do you honestly think there's some celestial father who gives a damn about oral sex??
