Minerals allow many metabolic reactions in your body to occur. Without minerals our body cannot transport oxygen (for example) & build bone tissue. There are many processes in the body that require a number of different minerals, all in different tiny amounts. These minerals can be easily obtained if you eat a balanced diet.
