I streamlined a lot of paper work by not bothering to do it.

It's kinda hard for me to do that. If I don't do exactly what I'm supposed to do, there are problems. Believe me, I've always wanted to, but I can't unless I want to get in trouble for it.

Yes. Only because I have thorough knowledge of what I'm doing and recognize the "corners being cut" are unnecessary steps or procedures.

Yes indeed, especially when I found out that it was pretty much 'company policy' to cut corners. I didn't like how it felt to do it, but I also had a significant amount of work to do, and very little support - so you end up doing what is acceptable where you are at.

Thanks for your honesty POLICE. I understand---safeguarding reputation is important. I've cut corners too, but like you, I cannot divulge here. Argh.

I never follow the rules... as long as I get the job one and my boss is aware of what I’m doing she doesn't really mind... that and her being informed makes it easier for my department to stop me sticking electrodes in my head or killing someone to get their bumper design!
