That wasn't exactly what he said. He was talking about making changes to the constitution that define marriage as only between a man and woman. He then went on to say...

But, to answer your question, yes it did piss me off. Anytime someone makes a comparison to such horrific acts as bestiality/pedophilia to homosexuality, it really gets under my skin. This guy's an idiot.

As someone who works on a daily basis with abused teens, and has had to do MUCH research on the topic...how does that explain that the VAST majority of sexual abusers are heterosexual (some estimates are as high as 90% of abusers are heterosexual)?

Yep. I never understood the logical connection. One could just as easily argue that since more men are convicted sex offenders, then men should be chemically castrated or given sex changes (not that I believe this, it's just meant to be an illustrative analogy). Pedophilia and bestiality are all forms of sex, so why couldn't a heterosexually active person be equally likely to engage in forms of deviant sexuality?
