  • You will know when your rabbit is due to give birth when she starts to pull the fur off her belly. She will also start taking fresh hay through in her mouth into the bedding area and start kicking sawdust through.
  • She will start pulling fur and taking hay and making a nest. She will start eatting more and getting fatter. Her tempermant might change too. About a week before she is due put a nesting box in her cage so she can have her babies. If your planning to breed rabbits its good to keep track (by a calender) when the mothers are due. Hope this helps!
  • If she pulls out hair on the 28th day and then on the 31-32 day gives birth you will know. Most people, unless experienced can't palpate or tell if they re pregnant.
  • You will also wonder where she is getting all that fur, too! They sometimes almost fill a cage with their fur, and hide those itty-bitty babies right in the middle. You will wonder why they don't smother. It's amazing!
  • when she pulls out fur she will have them usually that night.
