  • I know many Americans that say this but then vote for candidates because of their religious affiliation. I guess many Americans believe in a secular government. They just won't tolerate one.

  • I and others like me firmly believe in the separation of church and state. There has been a movement towards making "faith" a central part of government...by a particular group, who believe what they believe to be the only belief..which of course is not what the founding fathers intended..this country used to welcome people of all faiths with respect and acceptance..unfortunately the group who seems to want control is very loud and drowns out the voices of others who say "wait a minute...who do you think you are?" :(
  • I am for separating Religion from Governance. Though the Government would like to be secular, in a democracy the views of the majority prevails.
