To me the most important issues the world is facing today are: abject poverty in some countries, divide along religion, racial, political, etc lines, permissiveness in some societies, breakdown of marriages and escalating divorce rates will shake the very foundation of societies, lack of cohesiveness and the impending terrible times which will dawn when the time comes and we are not ready for them.

We consume too much and that is the real problem, unless we can change our values away from materialism and back into being brothers and sister living in a global family, we will finish up this planet and we do not have another one to go to. We are like a bunch of termites on a boat in the middle of the ocean, we will just survive as long as ours boat lasts so lets eat it slower.

mankinds greed, lack of humility, increase in no natural affection, mankinds acceptance of the unacceptable, lack of respect for the elderly, moms working when they dont need to and leaving their children in child care, lack of willingness to be guided by our creator which happens to be good honest practicle guidance and much much more oh nad materialism.
