Thunderbirds 1-5 are as described elsewhere. Thunderbird 6 was actually an honoury title given to a Tiger Moth byplane in the Thunderbird movie of the 1960s. Other vehicles do include the Mole, Lady P's Rolls Royce and others. Some other bits 'n' pieces...

Thunderbird 4 needed T2 to get to most locations (unlike 1,2,3,6) but could travel underwater directly from the island. T3 generally was used to swap astronauts manning T5.

T1 colour - silver (with red and blue highlights)
T2 colour - green (and by far the best ship ever designed)
    T3 colour - orange
    T4 colour - yellow
T5 - hey, it was a self propelling satellite

    The Thunderbird machines are:

    Thunderbird 1: a high-speed rocket plane
Thunderbird 2: a heavy carrier aircraft
    Thunderbird 3: a spaceship
    Thunderbird 4: a submarine
Thunderbird 5: an Earth-orbiting space station which monitors emergency broadcasts
The Mole: a high-speed manned tunneling machine
