I legally own half a property with a friend which I now have nothing to do with, and haven't for the past 3 1/2 years. I now want to remove my name off the deeds and want to know how to go about this and how much it is likely to cost.

My daughter put her boyfriend on the deed to her home, not the loan. she has been paying all the bills now they split and he wants $15,000. how does she get him off the deed as he will not sign release papers?

You're reading Im married and plan on purchasing a home in the state of Texas without my husbands name being on the loan. I have good credit, but my husband does not. Does my Husband have to be on the loan and will it affect me at closing?
