Cristina, to directly answer your question ...
It looks like Demand Media has a lot on their hands.
Like a lot of small companies, I wouldn't be surprised if they go out of business, or if they explode and get really big really fast. Online ventures are unreliable and unpredictable. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if Demand Media is just Joe and Bob working in their garage.
AnswerBag.com is only one of their projects. Demand Media does not see most of the questions here. There's about 800 active users who ask and answer questions each day, about anything and everything, and it's just all over the place! This is the general public, writing on AnswerBag.
I've noticed that questions that are very specialized tend to go completely unanswered. The general public just doesn't know the answer to obscure stuff, and doesn't really care. After a while AnswerBag turns more into general socializing, and not so much expert research. It becomes more about joking around and getting popularity points.
Superdudes is a specialized topic that the general public doesn't know much about. It's natural that the chatty conversationalists won't be able to help you very much.
I hope you can get in touch with Demand Media directly, and try to work something with them. I think it REALLY SUCKS that Superdudes isn't working out for you.
It makes me worry too. A lot of people on AnswerBag have spent 500 to 1000 hours of their life here, and would be hugely upset if Demand Media just disappeared. I think we can relate to your frustration and fear. It sounds like Superdudes was a big deal for a bunch of people.
I wish the general public, here on AnswerBag, could help you more! Your best bet might be to try to collect email addresses or phone numbers for Demand Media. The direct solution is usually best. Or get a whole bunch of your friends to hop over to a more reliable gaming system.
Business is cutthroat. If the customer service isn't there, go where it is.

There are a lot of questions on AB that have no answers or feedback. There is absolutely no way these have been singled out.

SuperDudes member Edifier here... SuperDudes is dead unfortunately, but I've created a place where SuperDudes who have lost contact can get together again: http://www.GodsMercy.net so come on over Cristina and anyone else!
I think superdudes is done. It only takes a few hours to negotiate and change servers maybe a couple days at most. I used to play it too. I dont think they were making enough money to pay for hosting of the site on the servers they were on. And most likely as they only sold a few packs of cards they never will be able to afford it. only if they made it a pay site. Or ran ads for other sites.
I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO GET INTO SUPERDUDES.NET FOR A LONG TIME CAN ANYONE HELP ME?

You're reading I play Superdudes for almost 4 years. The last two days we have the msg "We'll be right back". on... Are you changing servers for so long time? Why all the questions here are answered and the ones concerning Superdudes have no feedback?

1,000 hours is a full-time job for half a year . . . (40 hours/week x 25 weeks)
.
But I understand what you mean. Online games can really take over!
.
I hope Demand Media can get your servers running soon, or at least communicate with you!
