It could be that it may not be settling with her stomach. My cat will do that when I switch her food. I would go back to something she likes or is different.

Of course it's not normal, unless you bought the 'bulimic' formula. Something is not settling with her. It doesn't sound like an allergic reaction, but there's obviously something in the blend that doesn't agree with your cat. I'd try another brand or formula ans see if she does better with it. Frequent small puddles of foam have in my experience usually been indicative of something caught in the throat. Like tinsel or plastic wrap or even a recalcitrant hairball. Not saying this is what it is but you might want to check it out. The frequency of vomiting along with the lack of any stomach content point to something trying to be dislodged from the throat or esophagus, not from the tummy.
