  • Could be the computer not sending voltage to the fuel pump when the key is back in the running position. Have them check voltage to the fuel pump just after starting.
  • Will it try to start? If it starts but then stalls it could be a coolent temperature sensor. They are not hard to change and 20-30 bucks. I would give it a try.
  • You could check out the guys at Car Talk. Their website is http://www.cartalk.com/ and you can click on the email & chat tab at the top and ask them. They are great. I learned a thing or two about my 1988 hyundai. Good luck
  • Could just be a dying ignition switch too. Stalling after letting the key return to the "RUN" position is a pretty common symptom of this.
