  • Shenandoah National Park in Virginia, US. It's a beautiful valley surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains. Perfect for picnics, camping or just passing through. I've only been twice though, both times on the way to Washington DC.
  • Jellystone (better than the average bear)
  • Shennandoah National Park in Western Virginia. I went to college 30 miles away in the Shennandoah Valley and I fell in love with it. I'm moving back up there soon!
  • That is both a great but difficult question to answer because their are so many good ones and many different types. Here's a list of top 10 most visited parks with the annual crowd numbers too. The only one I would add would be Denali in Alaska and Hawaii Volcano's. 1. Great Smoky Mtns. National Park, Tenn. 9,192,477 2. Grand Canyon National Park, Ariz. 4,401,522 3. Yosemite National Park, Calif. 3,304,144 4. Olympic National Park, Wash. 3,142,774 5. Yellowstone National Park, Wyo., 2,835,651 6. Rocky Mountain National Park, Colo. 2,798,368 7. Zion National Park, Utah 2,586,665 8. Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Ohio 2,533,827 9. Grand Teton National Park, Wyo. 2,463,442 10. Acadia National Park, Maine 2,051,484 Still my favorite would be Everglades & Big Cypress National Park in Florida because it is close enough for me to experience many times and it is so diverse to keep me busy looking for years.
  • Yellowstone National Park is amazing because of all the geothermal attractions. However, Big Bend National park in South Texas is beautiful and awe-inspiring. So many rocks, so close to Mexico. The Rio Grande is a mighty river, too.
  • My favorite national park would be Zion in Utah. It is just so peaceful, even if there are motels scattered around and a main highway.. It is awe inspiring to me.
  • Yellowstone looks like a great place to visit so I'll say there.
  • Glacier.... no doubt... After that Yosemite and Zion... I was a little bit disappointed by Yellowstone. Yeah, the geothermal features are kinda neat, BUT way too many tourists and the overall scenery is just average IMHO...
  • Banff in Canada. Yosemite in the USA
  • The Grand Canyon.
  • Smokeys
  • Right now, the Everglades because they are so unique and so close to me
  • South Downs Sussex
  • Yosemite
  • Cumberland Island Did You Know? Cumberland Island is one of the largest undeveloped barrier islands in the world. The island has one of the largest maritime forests remaining in the United States and one of the largest wilderness areas in a National Seashore on the east coast.
  • Hmm..interesting. I have never heard of this place. I will do some googling though. Thanks!
  • Point Pelee
  • yellowstone
  • Denali, or the Cape Cod National Sea Shore.
  • Saguaro...I'm missing it right now. Also, Grand Canyon - fascinating for Geo history. I like a lot of them - I took a class that was called geology of national parks... Oh, Bryce! and Zion! - gorgeous Also Yellowstone and Yosemite, as others said and Isle Royale, in MI. - It's one of the least visited, so if you want deep nature minus people, check it out.
  • Zion has to be my favorite, but I also have a real soft spot for Isle Royale.
  • Snowdonia. It's just as beautiful as the Lake District, but easier to get about by road from one part to another. http://www.snowdoniaguide.com/
  • Great Smokey Mountains. I love the views, the deep forests, the entire ecosystem.
  • Yosemite National Park in California is the most beautiful place on Earth.
  • Shenandoah National Park. Skyline Drive during the fall is probably the most breathtakingly beautiful sight on the entire east coast. Every fall, we take the top off the convertible and take the drive, stopping to tour a winery or two and having either a picnic or a nice dinner from one of the very fine restaurants on the way back.
  • Acadia National Park in Maine. It was beautiful, large, had a lot of natural beauty and a great view of Maine from the top of the mountain. I love Bar Harbor too.
  • The Grand Tetons. Very still, very quite. Awesome place.
  • Banff National Park.I like the rocky mountains and Banff is an interesting city within this park. Also the ski hills are there and gondola lifts.
  • Valley Forge National Historical Park... I live like 5 min from it... cross through it at least once a week if not every day...
  • Glacier National Park. Absolutely gorgeous. So much wildlife there – it is like you are at a petting zoo. The trails are great. There is so much to explore. I wish that I lived right near there. Here is a link: http://www.nps.gov/glac/
  • Zion National Park in Utah...absolutely breath taking views and wild life running thru the campgrounds!
  • corbet national park is my favorite. http://www.chitranshtravels.com
  • Zion, because it is the last one I went to.
  • corbet national park , because it is in my city
  • Sunderbans National Park- Sunderbans is a magnificent tangle of mangrove jungle that’s the only one of its kind in the world. It’s spread over 54 islands and extends into neighboring Bangladesh. The Sundarbans is only accessible by boat and exploring it this way is a thrilling experience that shouldn’t be missed. Don’t be hopeful of seeing any tigers though. They’re very shy and usually remain well hidden in the reserve. http://www.chitranshtravels.com
