I totally agree with "Old School". Probably that the only way to get out off this habit.
This worked for me:
Put the alarm across the room so you have to get up to stop it then either turn on a bright light of raise the blinds/open the curtains.
Good luck; it's a bit tough at first.
I found that putting the alarm clock across the room, thereby forcing me to get up and walking to shut it off did the trick for me.
Good luck.
get more than one alarm and place them all around the room or find a friend that wake you up with breakfast or some thing to get you going.
You can go the other way.
Buy a wind up alarm with the loud bell that goes off and rings untill it unwinds. No snooze. Alarm goes off, you wake up, you get out of bed or lose job.
What do you mean by "old school"?

You're reading How can I get out of the habit of hitting the snooze button a bazillion times in the morning and get back into my old habit of getting up when my alarm goes off? I've spent the past year "snoozing" and I want to stop!
