Just because you're witness to something does not mean that you're accepting of it. Besides, according to the faith, God is not forced to do anything, it's his will that certain sinners be sent to hell. Also, according to faith, not all sinners are sent to hell. Everyone commits sins, and yet there's supposed to be plenty of people in heaven, because God forgives. However, there has been no definitive line that I've seen that anyone has been able to successfully defend as to the exact things that will get you into heaven or not...probably because heaven is an item of faith, so there is no means of scientifically testing what would send one to heaven or not.

It doesn't mean he's incapable of being in the presence of sin. It means he hates it. I can't stand to be around my boss, but I do it anyway. I just put her as far away from myself as possible.

Sinners send themselves to hell; God is reaching out with his forgiveness, that Jesus won. Jesus willingly took all the punishment that sinners like me deserve. And now God offers that forgiveness freely- no strings attached. Those who go to hell are those who refuse the free forgiveness and try to make up for their wrongs with their own methods. Methods that will never work. They'd rather pay $30 for a $500 item than get the item for free. And, as one of the posters mentioned above, hating something and being in its presence is a very normal thing!
