  • Yuck. You have a couple of options: 1. Does the mother board have boot LEDs? if so, watch what they get stuck on and look the sequence up in the manual or the net. 2. Check your power supply. Turn it on and look at the CPU Fan. If the fan rotates, good, you've got 12Volts. If there are any other bleeps or buzzes, you've most likely got 3.5Volts and a happy PSU. The Power Supply Unit (PSU) is liable to smell funny if it has popped a cap, but not if a diode or resister is fried. 3. Take the mother board out and try it in a different machine. If it no go bro, then there you go!
