This is a VERY old joke. I think I first heard it in the 60's but I am sure it is a lot older than that. Adultry is a rotten thing to do to your spouse and I do not condone it. However, the common accepted answer was "No, Children do not have as much fun as the adults do."
That was the punch line so "laugh it up." Back then, it was actually comedic to think that someone would cheat on their spouse.
Both have their pros and cons...An infant is the product of two adults and is innocent. Adults are the creation of parental nature and nurturing and as successful, equitable and moral.......Enjoyment of infancy is reliant upon the love and care of the parents, and pastoral guidance of elders. Enjoyment of adulthood is a well balanced mind and spirit watered with love and wisdom, resilient and prospering in all climes....
