sounds like you could have a leak, either from your washing machine, the incoming pipes, or the drain pipe.
Sounds like the floor is rotting due to water damage.
The floor is going to give out. Water damage, either from a leak or just the natural dampness under your mobile home (assuming your MH has a ''skirt'') has rotted and comprimised your floor and supporting members. Take care of the leak. Add ventilation, passive (3 or four ''static'' vents) or forced (1 vent w/fan and 1 or more static). Repair the rotted floor joists and install new plywood subfloor.
We had that problem in our kitchen from where the dishwasher was leaking.
Water damage?
Or maybe it's termites...
But it sounds like the same problem we had.
You have a bad water leak somewhere in that room. The water is soaking into the subfloor and ruining it.
The pipes are leaking.
Maybe the plumbing underneath the laundry room is leaking and causing the ground to cede or become soft.
Mobile homes do make extensive use of Particle board, and it does get spongy with moisture. However humitity isnt enough, its a leak.
Might be a hose fitting might even be from a roof or bathroom leak but it is water migrating from somewhere to the laundry area & being absorbed. Youo will have to find the leak & you will have to stop the leak then you will have to replace the subfloor.
I will bet its either a hose leak at a connection or the drain wastewater running down inside the wall..
don
Leaking pipes somewere. Most mobile home used particle board floors and when it gets wet it falls apart.
My guess is that the prolonged exposure to the warm moist air from the washer/dryer has caused your sub-floor to swell and weaken. I've seen a lot of mobile homes that have particle board for substrate. Unfortunately particle board is like a sponge in humid areas. chances are you're gonna have to replace it.
