  • Prioritize. Make a list of what needs to be done. Then go over that list and put it in order. Then go over it again and estimate costs, resources, time, conditions, etc. Once the list is complete, do the first item. ONLY when the first item is complete, do the second, then the third. To make sure you see the list everyday, staple it to a notice board, the refrigerator or your head. As you progress, feel happy that you've completed stuff. Don't think "Oh, this'll never be finished", think "Heck, I'm almost there!"
  • Just a follow-up to make sure you finished the project...or even started!!! Did you?
  • think of the outcome and how much fun it will bring you.
  • Depends on the project. I usually delegate it to someone who can do it better than me and that's not hard for me to do! But if it's something only I can do, I'll usually wait to the very last minute. So if you get a good answer here please do let me know as I'm in the same boat. Please excuse me I have to go put medicine on a lot of mosquito bites on hard to reach places!
  • Take one thing at a time.
  • Think about the real reason why you are doing it! and the benefit that you will get because of finishing it!
  • set time/goal limits. promise yourself you will only work on the project for 15 minutes a day, and then do it. you will probably find yourself wanting to keep going once you start and the visible progress will be valuable motivation to continue. also, reward yourself when it's done!
