  • Depends on what kind of business it is. i would say go to college and work in the job area in which you want to start the business. After a year into the business you'll know if you like enough to commit time, money and sweat into it. In the 21st Century a college degree is the new high school degree. You really should be shooting for a Masters level degree if you want to be very successful.
  • GET A COLLEGE EDUCATION FIRST. Then start your business. If it should fail for any reason, you have your degree to fall back on and you will need it. Believe me. 4 years of college is nothing in the great scheme of things.
  • I believe that getting a college education and then a job in that industry you studied for is the way to go. That is what I would do since I am doer not a leader.
  • getting a business degree isnt rocket science, go for the college, plus you'd be missing out on a really beneficial experience of "college life' where you will truly develop independance and find your way in the world.
  • A college education is very important. If you have reason to believe that the business is going to be very successful there is no reason not to try it. And you can go to school while you run your business. But it would not be good to start a business that fails and then you do not do your college education either. No matter what happens is never to late to go back to school.
