Help answer this question below.

I just finished my first strip of the pill, but i havent got my period yet. Does this mean that i might be pregnant? Its my first time being on the pill.

    Tsk, Tsk on your doctor who should have taken more than 5 minutes to ear your desire/need for The pill and write the prescription.

    S/He should have told you that the first 3 months being on the pill can (and most likely will) have an impact on your cycle, when you start, when you finish, the amount of flow, and how much cramping and other symptoms of your period will or could have.

    http://www.epigee.org/guide/medfaq.html May be of great help to you, in there you will find that is not abnormal for women to miss one or two periods once they start the pill.

    Further you will find other information your doctor should have went over with you during the consultation that should have taken place BEFORE he handed you the script.

    Do yourself a favor, do a web search on the name of the pill you are taking (there are several forms) you will find many helpful sites by the name of the pill.

    If you were not informed of missed periods, then you most likely were not informed of possible side effects or how the pill will affect you once you stop taking it when you do decide to have a baby. That information is as important to you as what happens to your body while on the pill.
