A week ago I was 8 hours late taking my bc pill, now I am bleeding a week before my period is due and still on active pills. Have been on pill for 8 months. Had intercourse the day I was late on pill. What is wrong and will my period start next week?

Our cycles can change sometimes but if you are truly worried maybe you can call your doctor if he/she has clinic hours and speak with her directly

The same thing happened to me earlier this month. I was late taking my birth control pill 8 hours had intercourse and was bleeding a week before my period (but i had intercourse the night before) and in the morning i was bleeding. I went to the doctors right away and she tested me and said i had a urine infection. I am still waiting for my period. Did you end up getting yours?
