I've never found that you can't. I know there are colloquialisms out there about it, but they both go down the same for me.

Because it can make you sick, a mixture of sugar and everything else doesn't do well in most peoples bellies. Kind of like the saying "Beer before liquor never been sicker..."

Well first of all mixing hard liquor/wine with beer in any combination is the perfect mixture for a nice hangover the next morning. Second of all its the fastest and more likely way for you to be sick. Remember the old saying.... Beer then liquor -- cause to fear. Liquor then liquor works much quicker or Beer before liquor, never sicker, liquor before beer, never fear

Chyaz: well it isnt a good experience. but hey ho, you get to be drunk for a bit :D Lee: You can mix alcohol and beer it is easy, take one or more measures of your choosen alcohol, carefully pour into a semi full beer glass, And Enjoy:)

Grape and grain do not mix well at all. The worst experience is Sherry and Cider and they are both fruits.

Because mixing any alcohol - vodka followed by tequila, for example, will give you a hangover that will make you wish you were dead.

Some people do... I knew someone who liked to put citurs vodka in Corona... whatever floats your boat.
