Help answer this question below.

I get an error message about an unknown trojan virus on my computer,I have tried several virus and spyware removal programs to no avail.Help please this is very annoying

    What program is reporting this trojan? If it's not your native anti-virus etc. software, it could be a pop-up (hoax). Hopefully you didn't click a 'click here to get rid of it' link if it was a pop-up.

    as your not saying what programs your using or have tryed, a little hard here
    as many programs in themselfs are spyware, so when you download them you have actually created more problems
    the list I am giveing you is safe and all free
    once they are downloaded run them once without internet then again with internet for best results, only run the spyware programs one at a time.
    the only one that will run in safemode is AVG anti-spyware

    1. FIRST STEP GO TO YAHOO AND TYPE IN: AVG FREE DOWNLOAD

    2. CHOOSE THE ONE THAT SAYS :AVG FREE ADVISOR - FREE ANTIVIRUS AND ANTI-SPYWARE DOWNLOADS (should be about the 3rd one down) CLICK IT
    (avg-anti spyware is also for mal-ware and root kits- this one also works in safe mode F8)

    3. ONCE THAT PAGE OPENS YOU WILL SEE ON THE LEFT SIDE OF PAGE FREE BASIC PROTECTION AND A ORANGE BOX THAT SAYS DOWNLOAD, CLICK IT

    4.NEXT PAGE OPENS YOU WILL SEE PRODUCT COMPARISON, GO TO THE ONE ON THE FAR RIGHT AT THE BOTTOM, SEE WHERE IT SAYS FREE AND ANOTHER ORANGE BOX, CLICK IT

    5. CLICK CONTINUE TO DOWNLOAD ANTI-VIRUS DOWNLOAD ONLY, CLICK THOSE WORDS

    6. NEW PAGE OPENS WITH DOWNLOADS ON IT, SEE THE ORANGE BOX AGAIN SAYS DOWNLOAD NOW AT DOWNLOAD.COM AND YOU ALSO SEE 5 RED STARS, CLICK THE BOX

    This is so interesting on how many people have this same thing that I did. I kept getting those popups saying I am infected with unknown Trojan.
    There are some guides online that help you with this. Only thing you have to restart windows in safe mode. That’s a big step to getting rid of the Trojan and all of it’s files.

    Make sure you follow each step and remove all listed files if you remove it manually. Be careful not to delete any system files that you need. I did and had to reinstall windows… not fun!

    Do you go to the help sites of the virus programs you were using?

    and if you are using several programs they can sometimes recognize each other as viruses...

    Virus scan in "safe mode" usually f8 at boot-up then only basic drivers are loaded and the Trojan should be removed :o)
