  • What is the age of consent in NC? If it's 17 or less then no. If it's 18 then, in theory, he could. But your parents would have to file the complaint. If your parents are cool with it, then you're fine.
  • You are fine. North Carolina The age of consent in North Carolina in general is 16, though no school faculty member can have any sexual activity with any student more than 4 years their junior except when married to the person {§14‑27.7}. Any sexual intercourse with a 13-15 year old is prohibited unless the defendant is less than 6 years older than the victim except when married to the person {§14‑27.2, 14‑27.4 & 14‑27.7A}.
  • you're fine. i live in North Carolina, and i have a 21 year old step-cousin where her friend tried to set her up with a 17 year old boy. my sister thought it was illigal, but then my step aunt said it's not. so it's OK.
  • North Caorlina's age of consent is 16 years old but there are limitations on it. You can only have an age difference of 4 years, unless your parents are okay with it. The police will not charge someone you for dating someone older than you, unless your parents really get involved... I was dating someone who was 23 and I am only 17, that is 6 years difference and not 4. The police don't really have much authority in this kind of case... My parents were against it, but they had no proof saying it was not consentual, and no proof that he was corrupting, or manipulating me, so it is all good. You can legally be with you're BF :) Wish you the best! -Moe-
